Welcome to Springtime 2012 with Shawls To Share! What an awesome year it has been so far! For another year we have been able to provide shawls, blankets, lap blankets and this year we have added cancer patient hats and scarves for a total of over two hundred since our inception!
We have been tremendously blessed with donations of fleece, yarn, crochet hooks and knitting needles, fabric for our bags, volunteers to help crochet, make bags, embroider on our bags or gifts, and much more!
We continue to be able to provide many gifts of comfort to individuals from many different walks of life, personal illness, along with those in need of encouragement.
See our Photo Album for some of the beautiful blankets, shawls, and lap blankets, along with the the gift bags that were made specially for each of these gifts.
We have a need for our Gift Makers Team to grow as we are lead in the direction of providing baby booties, caps, blankets for young women with infants through an organization in the Fremont, Newark, Union City, CA area. However, we do not limit our ministry to these cities, if you have a need, contact me and we will do what we can to provide a gift for your loved one. We are also looking for individuals interested in joining us in making the items we've listed, and are open other ideas.
All the material will be provided, you just make it and return it to us and we will deliver them to the individuals!
Won't you consider how you might help?
Check out our Photo Album to see the shawls, lap blankets and gift bags that we gave out this quarter.

God tells us to comfort others like we have received comfort from Him! The scripture below says it all for me.
II Cor. 1:3-4 (NIV)
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble, with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
